Circus skills workshops are great fun for all and circus skills are achievable by absolutely everyone. The degree of achievement is down to determination and hard work.
Circus skills are a great form of exercise with a multitude of advantages. They develop the physique evenly, unlike some sports which require specialized use of Crcus skills also develop skills such as concentration, hand-eye co-ordination, self motivation and self discipline.
Finally, they necessitate the setting of goals, the development of problem solving techniques and team building skills. The personal rewards resulting from each small achievement are immense and a driving force to the next level, be it alone, with a friend or within a group.

 

Suitability of Circus Skills:

 

All ages, although we would recommend circus skills workshops from 5 years upwards we have worked with some amazing 3 year olds and the younger you start introducing circus skills the better, so don’t be afraid to let the little ones join in if they show an interest.

Duration of Circus Skills

Circus Skills Workshops last from 1 hour to a 4 – 5 hour Day (with or without a 30 minute performance) to a Full Week (the latter can be arranged to culminate in a performance by the participants of their achievements). The full week can be spread out over a course of 5 consecutive weeks during term time or in the summer holidays.
A 1 hour Introductory Circus Skills Workshop usually includes 4 skills such as scarf and ball juggling, diabolo, spinning plate and stilt walking. Other options are available by request. Longer workshops include further circus skills and the development of individual circus skills.

 

Numbers

 

Up to 30 participants per 1 hour session.
A 4 – 5 hour Circus Workshop Day caters for from 30 participants up to 120 – 150 participants. There is some flexibility on the numbers. Please do not hesitate to contact us with your requirements. Workshops will be arranged according to the number of participants, length of time booked and your requirements.
